Shiti Dhar or 'White Peak' is at a height of over 18,000 feet and is probably the best peak to go on if you are just starting off with mountaineering. These mountains located in the Bara Banghal Range are a brilliant expedition since one has the possibility of summiting two peaks. The south face of the peak offers both a very challenging and a straightforward route. It is a climb that will offer incredible views of both the Kullu and Lahaul Valley with Hanuman Tibba, Indrasan, Pir Panjal and Deotibba visible from the peaks. An added bonus is the stunning view of the Raigharh Glacier. Your base camp will be near Beas Kund, Beas source, and the location is 1 day trek away from the main city of Manal
Manali (2050 m) Team Introduction, Check and Division of Equipment.You will sort out all the climbing equipment and try on the crampons, harness and climbing boots. You can then explore Manali . Main attractions in the vicinity include Roerich Art Gallery and Hadimba.
Manali to Solang Nallah (2480 m) by car 13 km. Solang Nallah to Dundhi (2890 m) Dundhi to Base camp Bakhar Thach (3291 m). The nearby Beas river is a perfect setting to sit by. You can cross it and see the Bakkarthach grazing grounds. Overnight camp stay is arranged.
Bakhar Thach to Beas Kund ( 3690m). A one hour strong climb wakes you up well followed by a serene easy walk lasting another hour or so. You will get familiar with equipment use, ice/snow movement practice.
Beas Kund to Camp 1 (4724m) A 6-hour trek. Acclimatization to conditions
Rest day. Adjustment of equipment, basic theory.and learning the skill of arresting falls on slopes.
Camp 1 to summit Shittidhar (5294 m) back to Camp 1. An early early morning trek to go to the summit. The whole idea is to get there early so that the weather is in your favor, offering tremendous views. Getting back to Base Camp is another adventure.
Camp 1 to Bakhar Thach (3291 m): A beautiful walk back to Bakhar Thach. Enough time to introspect and share your adventure stories.
Bakhar Thach to Dundhi & drive Back to Manali by car. Last day
This trek is meant for people above 14 years of age only. Prior trekking experience is not essential, but good physical fitness is mandatory. Additionally, persons suffering from injuries or recovering from injuries or operations are strictly prohibited from participating in this trip.
Meals : All meals (vegetarian only) during the expedition
Accommodation : All accommodation during the trek, be it guest house, home stay or camping
Guide: A qualified and professional English speaking expedition guide and support staff.
Equipment: All trekking equipment such as tents (sharing on a 2/3 people per tent), crampons, sleeping bags, mattresses, cooking utensils and crockery, mules or porters for luggage if required.
Fees: This includes all park entrance fees and trekking permits
First aid: A first aid medical kit, stretcher and oxygen cylinder
Transport: Transport only from Kathgodam to Loharjung and back

Mules or porters to carry personal luggage. Please note that each member of the trip is expected to carry his/her own luggage. If a porter or a mule is desired, the customer will have to inform us prior to booking the trip and pay for the extra costs

Cancellation policy: if a customer books places in the trek and cancels later, the following charges will be applicable depending on when the cancellation is done.
